Pls help me to do a project about Information Sources.So can u send me some facts about libraries.

I am a librarian working in one of the Universities in New Zealand. I have got library qualifications with masters of Library and Information Science in the Victoria University of Wellington. I have always been a vivacious library user when I was in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan libraries were always safe heavens for me by providing me material and space to study hard. Now I am in the same profession in a developed country, where I have access to more resources, and modern systems. When I think of people and the library services that I left behind, I feel I can do something to help the professionals there. It could be sharing my knowledge, expertise or making Sri Lankan library and information professionals aware about successful practices and strategies in my private capacity or this could be simply a dialog between professional across two countries to share information and knowledge. I like to contact some library and information services professional in Sri Lanka to engage in conversation on professional matters. In this era of information technology, the distance is not a barrier for meaningful conversation. Would you please let me know anyone who is interested of engaging with me in this aspect?
