The National Library & Documentation Services Board of Sri Lanka organized 5th National Library Research Symposium 2022 (NatlibSYMPO 2022) on 8th September, 2022 under the theme “Libraries as Partners in Enhancing and Sustaining Quality Education.” Mr. M. N. Ranasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka, attended as the Guest
of Honour; Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Chairman of the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka, delivered the Guest Address; and Mr. Prithi Perera, Former Secretary General of the Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO, delivered the Keynote Address. Participants representing various types of libraries and higher educational institutions including academic, public, school, and special libraries took part in the symposium.
