Memory of the World (MOW) Programme is implemented by UNESCO with the objective of preserving the documentary heritage of the world. Memory of the World Programme is an international initiative launched to safeguard the documentary heritage and this programme was started in 1992. This programme is administrated by an international advisory committee appointed by UNESCO.
