READING PROMOTION PROGRAMME

Contribution to Kalana Mithuru Poth Sumithuru reading promotion programme. The reading promotion programme implemented by the Presidential Secretariat in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will be organized in conjunction with the National Reading Month. The inauguration ceremony of this programme was held on 06th September 2017 under the patronage of His Excellency The President Maithreepala Sirisena. 2200 selected schools were donated books in this ceremony. National Library and Documentation Services Board also contributes to this programme.
